Bill Sandhoff


Bill and his sons have been working together since 2008 as Sandhoff Construction, carrying on a proud tradition of excellence that started with his Father over 60 years ago. 

Bill started working for his Father, Bill, Jr. at Sandhoff Construction when he was 9 years old. By the time he had graduated high school, he had also graduated from sweeping up joists to running complete projects.  After serving with the Navy Seabees in Vietnam, Bill returned to continue his education in Building Construction Technology at Manatee Community College and the University of South Florida.  Not only has Bill played a pivotal role in the development of Sandhoff Construction, he has also been employed by several large construction companies as Project Superintendent.  He managed the construction of Tropicana Research Facility, the Tropicana 96oz plant, Moffitt Cancer Center Clinic Research Facility and Parking Garage,  Clearwater Main Library and The Savoy on Palm in Sarasota for Turner Construction Co. He supervised the construction of The Palms of Riveria Dunes on Haben Blvd. while working for Waterford Development.

David is a graduate of the University of Florida School of Building Construction with a degree in Construction Management.  He worked for concrete and framing subcontractors while in school to gain hands-on experience and perfect his skills.  Before joining Sandhoff Construction, David worked as a Construction Manager with WCI Communities, where he was responsible for all phases of the construction on projects that included Sun City Center, West Shore Yacht Club in Tampa and the Venetian Golf and River Club in Venice.  He is highly skilled at coordinating multiple projects, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all phases of construction run smoothly and efficiently.  David's attention to detail and experience with high-end residential construction is a great asset to Sandhoff Construction.

As a kid, John loved to sit next to his Dad at the Drawing board and watch him bring his projects to life.  To feed his passion, John took Architectural Cad courses all four years in high school, fueling his passion for creative construction design. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management at Everglades University.  Over the next 20 years,  John worked with his father and grandfather to gain valuable experience in all phases of construction.  As Project Manager, John meticulously oversees each residential project from conception through completion, keeping clients informed as their project progresses through every phase. 

John thoroughly enjoys and is actively involved in the design development process. and he continues to stay up to date on the latest 3-d cad technology.  Clients love the realistic renderings he creates which allow them to modify and perfect their finished projects before a shovel ever hits the dirt.

Not every builder offers design services and no other builder has a talent like SoRelle.

Inspired by her grandmother, who was also an Interior Designer, SoRelle became is a Licensed Interior Designer with a passion for creating inviting and beautiful spaces.  She began her career remodeling high-end condominiums on Longboat Key where she transformed outdated spaces into coastal retreats.  Today, SoRelle works hand-in-hand with clients to design their custom home or remodel. SoRelle helps clients with their overall view of their complete project as well as bringing attention and beauty to every room, paying attention to design details. Her discerning eye and warm personality ensure that every client feels comfortable throughout the process and achieves their desired results.

Managing a project requires tremendous attention to laws and numbers and with over 15 years of Operations Management experience, Amber is a valued member of the Sandhoff team. Amber is responsible for ensuring that the financial side of each project runs smoothly by communicating with vendors to ensure that all billing and insurance certificates are in good standing.  Amber’s efforts allow Sandhoff Construction to receive excellent pricing on high quality materials, keep precise records of each project and estimate future projects with accuracy.
